LAT Toolkit Intern

PLEASE NOTE: Although this posting may display a longer availability window on Handshake due to system requirements, applications for this internship must be submitted by June 12th.

Description: This project will focus on identifying existing toolkits/resources for lead programming and identifying gaps in programming coverage. Based on what gaps exist, there is potential to develop relevant materials to fill those gaps. This will include making materials relevant to Kent County and surrounding areas. This work will be guided by the Kent County Lead Action Team, which is comprised of local and state partners with a focus on ending childhood lead poisoning.

Importance to Public Health: There is a large amount of material that already exists regarding lead poisoning prevention, but it can be hard to locate and navigate. Compiling relevant material into a one stop shop that can be adaptable to multiple audiences would improve the reach of important materials that can reduce childhood lead poisoning. This project will also identify existing gaps within our program materials.
