Business ANALYST internship – SUMMER/FALL 2026

Reports to: Senior Business Analyst
VON ARDENNE develops and manufactures advanced coating equipment for the deposition of micrometer to nanometer-thin functional layers on materials such as glass, metal strip, wafers, and polymer films. These materials are the basis for products such as solar modules, architectural glass, or smart phone displays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
While working towards a bachelor’s in business administration (or a similar bachelor’s degree from an accredited university), you will work as an intern in support of the Administration team within VON ARDENNE North America located in Perrysburg, Ohio.
The Business Analyst Intern will work on a variety of projects in support of the Spares Team business initiatives.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Perform a variety of general office support duties such as greet visitors, make copies, professionally assist with general questions, take reliable messages and/or route to appropriate staff.
- Prepare and submit quotes and order confirmations.
- Maintain and manage customer files within the internal database.
- Create, process, and send invoices to customers.
- Manage and complete tasks and projects assigned.
- Other duties as assigned, and job description is subject to change at any time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Tech Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: General office work experience in providing superior customer service, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing operation, and demonstrated ability to focus and solve problems.
- Very good command of spoken and written English, speaking German is a plus.
- The ideal candidate would possess knowledge of thin-film semiconductor PVD coating, high-volume manufacturing, and development activities for automated deposition equipment, service, and operations.
