Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Application Consultant / Senior Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in Azure Application Development, Full Stack Development, Data Engineering, and Cloud Solutions. The Azure Application Consultant / Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable cloud-native applications, data integration solutions, and analytics platforms using Microsoft Azure technologies. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver modern applications, enterprise integrations, and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud-based solutions.
2. Design and develop modern web applications using React.js, Node.js, and Python.
3. Develop and maintain Azure-based applications leveraging App Services, Functions, APIs, and cloud-native services.
4. Design and implement scalable data integration, replication, and transformation solutions.
5. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
6. Create and maintain notebooks for data processing, analytics, and machine learning workloads.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including offshore teams, DevOps, Data Governance, and Business stakeholders.
8. Design secure, scalable, and high-performance application architectures.
9. Troubleshoot application, integration, and database performance issues.
10. Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation plans.
11. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.

Required Technical Skills
1. Strong hands-on experience in Azure Application Development using React.js, Node.js, and Python.
2. Experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Event Hub.
3. Strong expertise in REST API development, Microservices Architecture, and cloud-native application development.
4. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
5. Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Notebook-based development.
6. Strong SQL Server expertise including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
7. Experience implementing Data Replication, Data Migration, Data Integration, and ETL/ELT solutions.
8. Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and experience developing ML solutions using Python.
9. Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment automation.
10. Understanding of enterprise security, authentication, authorization, and cloud governance best practices.

Consulting Responsibilities:
1. Lead workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
2. Recommend Azure application modernization and cloud transformation strategies aligned with business goals.
3. Create solution architecture, technical design documents, and implementation roadmaps.
4. Communicate technical concepts and solution approaches to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Support pre-sales activities, effort estimations, and proposal preparation when required.
6. Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure cloud platform best practices.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-305, DP-203, AI-102, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Preferred Experience
1. Experience delivering enterprise-scale Azure Application Development projects.
2.Experience working with Databricks, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning solutions.
3. Exposure to Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, and intelligent application development.
4. Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
5. Domain experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Supply Chain is a plus.
