MAT Project Intern
AltaMed's MAT team is searching for a Project Intern that will support various project management activities, which may include planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and develop valuable skills in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment. Please note that this internship is only offered for a 6-month period.
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or recent graduate from an academic institution (pre-health, pre-med, pre-pharmacy majors preferred).
Strong verbal communication skills as the intern will be interacting with the community and patients.
Excellent written skills as the intern will assist in creating flyers and Powerpoints targeting a variety of audiences.
Spanish language preferred, but not required.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to analyze and organize data into information.
Good personal organization skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize and use time effectively.
Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work with confidential information.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 10 pounds), bend, etc., hand and wrist dexterity to utilize a computer.
May require travel to sites/programs and special functions.
