AI Software Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software features for AI-powered applications
  • Build and maintain frontend and backend systems
  • Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services
  • Collaborate with founders and team members to define product requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Debug issues and improve application performance
  • Research and implement emerging AI technologies and tools
  • Contribute to product architecture and technical decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C++
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, or similar frameworks
  • Experience working with REST APIs and databases
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or generative AI tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Personal projects, hackathons, startup experience, or open-source contributions
