Android App Developer - Intern

Role Overview We're looking for an early collaborator to help build and maintain the Android application powering HealthPOD™. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship features that directly impact healthcare professionals and facilities.
Technical Skills Required: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, RESTful APIs, Firebase, Git
What You'll Do
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Utilize Firebase for push notifications and cloud messaging
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and ship new features
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Academic, project, or professional experience in Android app development
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK across multiple versions and screen sizes
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and material design standards
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and Firebase
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems
- Bonus: CI/CD tools, app store publishing, or AI/SaaS product experience
