Video Production Intern

Are you a visual storyteller who loves capturing moments and bringing ideas to life on screen? As our Video Production Intern, you’ll help produce, edit, and deliver creative video projects that showcase student success, small-business stories, and community impact.
From planning shoots to final cuts, you’ll collaborate with our creative and communications teams on purpose-driven work—and grow your skills and reel through real projects that make a difference.
About GlowUp ACS — GlowUp ACS is a New Jersey–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to close the “experience paradox”: the catch-22 where entry-level roles require experience that early-career talent hasn’t yet had the chance to build. As an Associate Intern, you’ll contribute to real, meaningful work on live projects. This is an unpaid role, and we follow all applicable U.S. and university guidelines for unpaid internships; documentation to support college credit is available upon request. We value self-starters who communicate openly and thrive in a flexible, collaborative, fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Capture and edit short- and long-form video for campaigns, student features, and partner stories.
- Help develop shot lists, scripts, and creative briefs.
- Edit footage for social, web, and presentations using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut.
- Collaborate with mentors and interns on storytelling, pacing, and brand alignment.
- Organize and maintain video files, project folders, and versions.
What You’ll Need
- Experience with or strong interest in video editing, storytelling, or production.
- Access to a computer/laptop with sufficient storage and editing software.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Reliable Wi-Fi and a webcam/microphone for meetings.
