Content Creation Intern

Are you a creative storyteller who turns ideas into eye-catching visuals and stories? As our Content Creation Intern, you’ll help produce original photo, video, and written content for campaigns highlighting student success, small-business growth, and community impact.
You’ll capture authentic moments, design multimedia projects, and help bring real stories to life—building a portfolio that shows range across formats.
About GlowUp ACS — GlowUp ACS is a New Jersey–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to close the “experience paradox”: the catch-22 where entry-level roles require experience that early-career talent hasn’t yet had the chance to build. As an Associate Intern, you’ll contribute to real, meaningful work on live projects. This is an unpaid role, and we follow all applicable U.S. and university guidelines for unpaid internships; documentation to support college credit is available upon request. We value self-starters who communicate openly and thrive in a flexible, collaborative, fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Capture and edit photos and short-form videos for campaigns and creative projects.
- Help create branded visuals, motion graphics, and promotional materials.
- Write short captions, storyboards, or copy to accompany content.
- Brainstorm with mentors and peers to develop and execute ideas.
- Maintain organized content folders and version updates.
What You’ll Need
- Familiarity with creative tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite.
- A passion for storytelling and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable computer/laptop with sufficient storage, stable Wi-Fi, and a webcam/microphone.
