Software Engineer

Full-time      ·      Experience: 0–2 years (1–2 preferred, not required)

About the Role

Invictus Technology is looking for smart, curious, and driven individuals to join our technology team. Technology at Invictus is the core of the business. We are a technology company, specializing in trading. We are looking for great people to work on all aspects of our trading system.

What You'll Do

  • Work on our system from trading algorithm development, to high speed data analysis, and intelligent execution engine design.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code on Linux and Windows
  • Other opportunities as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Deep, knowledge of C++ — modern C++, memory management, the STL, templates, and concurrency.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
  • Comfort in a Linux and Windows development environment.

Nice to Have (not required)

  • 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Database experience (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with High Performance Networking (Sockets, UDP, RDMA, Multicast, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of Multithreading and lock-free programming; 
  • Background in quantitative, scientific, or financial domains, or relevant personal/open-source projects.
