Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with our executive and sales teams to identify new market opportunities, generate high-quality leads, and support the expansion of our client portfolio. You will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced tech industry and master the fundamentals of the modern sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research: Identify potential clients, industry trends, and key decision-makers within target sectors.
Lead Generation: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through cold outreach, LinkedIn networking, and email campaigns.
Inbound/Outbound Execution: Assist in crafting compelling outreach messaging and follow up with inbound inquiries.
CRM Management: Keep our CRM database clean and up-to-date by tracking user interactions, leads, and deal progress.
Sales Support: Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and marketing collateral for client presentations.
Feedback Loop: Participate in weekly strategy meetings to share market insights and brainstorm new outreach tactics.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
Tech-Savvy: Strong interest in software products and tech industry trends. Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
Mindset: Highly self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable navigating an ambiguous startup or growth environment.
Organization: Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple prospecting tracks simultaneously.
