Position Summary
TriSphere is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer UI/UX Front-End Designer to help design intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences for our mobile and web applications. This role combines user experience research, interface design, and front-end collaboration to transform ideas into visually appealing and functional products.
Volunteers will work alongside developers, product managers, and project teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs while building a professional portfolio through real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design modern, user-friendly interfaces for mobile and web applications.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct user experience research and recommend usability improvements.
- Develop design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Ensure responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Apply accessibility (WCAG) and usability best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Continuously improve existing products based on user feedback and analytics.
- Maintain consistency across all TriSphere products and branding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design software.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts.
- Understanding of design systems and component libraries.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing for iOS and Android platforms.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with prototyping and user testing.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Understanding of front-end frameworks such as React or Flutter is a plus.
