Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Java Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications while working closely with experienced developers, testers, and business stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to build technical skills and gain hands-on experience in software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain Java applications under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in software design, code reviews, and team discussions.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist in integrating APIs, databases, and third-party services.
  • Perform unit testing and support system testing activities.
  • Learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
  • Support application deployment and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Spring Boot or Spring Framework.
  • Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
  • Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to JUnit or other testing frameworks.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
