About Our Internship Program
The DTCC Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience designed for high-performing students interested in financial services, business, and technology.  Interns gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, expand their networks, and contribute to meaningful work that supports DTCC's mission. Successful interns may be considered for future opportunities within DTCC, including our full-time EDGE Program upon graduation.

The Opportunity
As a Product Management Intern, you will support teams responsible for DTCC's Core Clearance & Settlement services that help power the global financial markets.  Working closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Agile delivery teams, you'll help translate business priorities into actionable work, support product development activities, and contribute to projects that enhance the client experience, address regulatory requirements, and strengthen market infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams to support product initiatives and business objectives
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint activities
  • Assist with user story creation, backlog management, and documentation
  • Support project planning, execution, and stakeholder communications
  • Analyze sprint metrics and project data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support delivery of product enhancements
  • Learn how DTCC's Core Clearance & Settlement businesses support global financial markets
  • Observe and share best practices across teams and projects

Responsibilities may vary based on business needs and assigned team.

Qualifications
Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business & Technology Management, Or a related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2
  • Authorized to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements

Preferred

  • Strong interest in financial services, product management, and technology
  • Experience with Excel, reporting tools, or data analysis
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Exposure to JIRA, SharePoint, or other collaboration tools
  • Previous internship, project, leadership, or campus involvement experience
