Finance Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Intern to join the finance team of a growing SaaS scale-up. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role offers hands-on exposure to the financial operations of a company moving through its next stage of growth.

This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to real finance projects, and learn how financial planning, reporting, and analysis support decision-making in a fast-paced, scaling business.

As a Boston-based Co-op or Intern, you will commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week. The ability to work periodically in our Boston office is important as you will sit alongside and collaborate with senior leaders and key Shifters. Your specific hours per week, in-office and weekly work schedule will be discussed and aligned directly with the CFO and HR to fit your academic requirements and our business needs.

  • Organize, clean, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Assist as needed with core FP&A and Accounting tasks

  • Support process improvements and projects across finance, accounting, and operations
  • Conduct research and benchmarking as needed

  • Collaborative: Eager to participate in team rituals, ask thoughtful questions, and share knowledge-sharing habits with global colleagues.
  • Adaptable & Impact-Driven: Thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve. You are comfortable diving into large or imperfect data sets to uncover actionable insights without waiting for perfect direction.
  • Boston-Based: Lives in or near the Boston area and is excited to join our physical workplace community.

  • Interested in SaaS, technology, startups, scale-ups, or subscription business models
