Videography & Video Editing Intern

Videography & Video Editing Intern

About OMIRA

OMIRA is a portfolio operating company that builds, owns, and scales businesses across services, technology, marketing, staffing, consumer brands, software, and real estate. We operate multiple active companies and brands inside one ecosystem, each with its own audience, visual identity, content strategy, and growth goals.

We are looking for an ambitious **Videography & Video Editing Intern** who wants real experience filming, editing, and producing content for active businesses.

This role is designed for creative individuals who want to build a serious portfolio while learning how video is used to grow brands, promote products and services, tell stories, generate attention, and support paid advertising campaigns.

Interns may help produce short-form social media content, promotional videos, founder content, business advertisements, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, event content, product videos, property content, and other branded video projects across the OMIRA ecosystem.

We are not looking for someone who only wants a title on their resume. We are looking for a creative, dependable, coachable person who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and wants to improve their skills through real projects.

The strongest candidates understand that good video is more than pointing a camera and adding transitions. They understand storytelling, pacing, lighting, sound, composition, emotion, audience retention, and how to turn raw footage into content that people actually want to watch.

This is an **unpaid internship position to start**, but it is not intended to remain that way. There is real potential to grow into paid freelance work, part-time employment, full-time employment, or a larger long-term creative position for someone who consistently produces strong work and takes ownership.

For the right person, there may also be opportunities to travel, attend shoots, work directly with founders and business owners, and eventually help oversee video production and creative direction across one or more OMIRA companies.

Responsibilities

• Film short-form and long-form video content for OMIRA businesses and brands
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, advertisements, websites, and other digital platforms
• Turn raw footage into polished, engaging, professional video content
• Create promotional videos, brand videos, founder content, interviews, testimonials, product videos, and behind-the-scenes content
• Help plan video concepts, shot lists, scripts, hooks, transitions, and storyboards
• Assist with lighting, camera setup, framing, audio, and production preparation
• Select strong clips, music, sound effects, captions, graphics, and visual elements
• Add subtitles, motion graphics, branding, transitions, color correction, and basic audio cleanup
• Repurpose longer videos into multiple short-form clips
• Organize footage, project files, exports, and shared media libraries
• Stay current on editing styles, social media trends, viral formats, camera techniques, and platform-specific content
• Work with OMIRA operators, business owners, marketers, and content creators to bring ideas to life
• Help test different video formats, hooks, editing styles, and creative approaches
• Make revisions based on feedback and continuously improve the final product
• Use AI tools where appropriate to assist with scripting, editing, captions, ideation, organization, and production workflows
