Teaching Assistant for NTR 2651

A part-time (10 hours) teaching assistant for NTR 2651: Nutrition Assessment Methods Laboratory is needed for the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities include assisting the faculty instructor of NTR 2650/2651 in the implementation of lab activities for NTR 2651 Nutrition Assessment Laboratory. Other responsibilities include grading assignments and presenting or leading one lab activity, as well as keeping inventory and completing other organizational tasks as needed. This course is taught on Fridays 10am-12pm in Fall and Winter semester, however the teaching assistant must be available 9:30 to 12:30. 

A background in nutrition and nutrition assessment (e.g. having taken NTR 2600/2650/2651, EXS 4030, WHP 4000/4030, or similar), is required.  Interested students must submit a resume, transcripts, and a cover letter outlining their interest and experiences related to this position. Preferred Qualifications:
This Teaching Assistant must be enrolled in courses at least part time.  Graduate course work and/or research must contribute directly to the satisfaction of Oakland's degree requirements.
 
Compensation:
This position is a maximum of 10 hours per week, $18/hr.
