Overview

ULimo is seeking Automotive Manufacturing Interns interested in manufacturing processes, production systems, quality improvement, and operational efficiency. Interns will gain valuable exposure to how engineering decisions influence product development and manufacturing while working within a fast-paced startup environment.

This role is ideal for students interested in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, automotive production, operations, and process optimization.

ULimo is currently in the design phase of one of our most ambitious projects yet: designing what we envision to be the world's first fully self-driving (FSD) electric luxury party buses and limousines. As an engineering intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, research, engineering concepts, and technical solutions that help shape the future of next-generation luxury transportation. This is a unique opportunity to gain early-stage product development experience while working directly with startup leadership on innovative mobility technologies.

 

Responsibilities

-Research automotive manufacturing processes and production methods.

-Assist with workflow optimization and process improvement projects.

-Support quality assurance and manufacturing documentation.

-Analyze manufacturing efficiency and recommend improvements.

-Research production technologies and automation opportunities.

-Assist with supplier and manufacturing process evaluations.

-Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

-Support projects focused on scalable manufacturing solutions.

 

Qualifications

-Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

-Strong analytical and organizational skills.

-Interest in manufacturing systems and operations.

-Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts is a plus.

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
