The Role

You'll own and extend the AI-powered application layer that runs our business: client-facing intake and ordering, internal decision-support tools, AI outreach systems, and integrations with our partners and vendors. You'll work directly with the founders. No layers, no ticket queues — you'll take a problem from idea to production, often in days.

What You'll Build and Maintain

  • Jurisdiction rules engine & Deed Selector — our internal decision-support system encoding 1,100+ county/state rules (deed types, affidavits, recording requirements). Extend coverage, add new transaction types, harden test suites.
  • AI document pipeline — LLM-assisted deed drafting, document review/QC checks, and data extraction from prior deeds and title documents, with attorney review always in the loop.
  • AI sales & outreach infrastructure — voice agents (ElevenLabs + Twilio), email automation (Instantly.ai), and CRM workflows (HubSpot). Improve call handling, lead routing, and campaign automation.
  • Order and payment workflows — Stripe billing, document intake, automated file/folder management, status tracking, and e-recording vendor integrations.
  • Partner integrations — API/OAuth integrations with estate planning platforms (e.g., drafting software, practice management tools like Clio) and white-label partner portals.
  • Compliance tooling — internal tracking systems for regulatory workflows (e.g., FinCEN reporting).

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years building production web applications (Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features: prompt engineering, structured outputs, RAG, tool use/function calling, and evaluation of AI output quality
  • Strong API integration skills (REST, OAuth 2.0, webhooks) with third-party SaaS platforms
  • Comfort with low-code/no-code platforms (Base44, or similar — Retool, Bubble) alongside custom code
  • Self-directed: you can take "attorneys need X" and deliver a working tool without a spec

Nice to have:

  • Legal tech, fintech, title/real estate, or other regulated-industry experience
  • Voice AI experience (Twilio Voice, ElevenLabs, Vapi, or similar)
  • HubSpot API and workflow automation experience
  • Experience building document generation pipelines (PDF/DOCX assembly)
