Accounting Internship (Part-Time)

Dates: August 24, 2026 - November 20, 2026
Up to 20 hrs/week
Hybrid in Orlando, FL

Job Summary: 

The accounting intern will assist with a wide range of duties in collaboration with senior accountants, including applying principles of accounting to record financial activity to the general ledger, analyzing and reconciling financial data, and learning about varied accounting activities.

The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing: 

  • Assist with reconciliation of cash disbursement accounts and other general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with gathering external audit support as needed.
  • Assist with analysis projects of various GL accounts and make recommendations for correction.
  • Prepare, review, and complete journal entries as needed.
  • Assist with proper documentation and filing of financial records, invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents.
  • Observe and assist with additional tasks as needed, such as intercompany activity reconciliation and preparing consolidation, performing settlement between parent organization and subsidiaries, research and recording of fixed assets, various compliance reporting, more complex GL account reconciliations, etc.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
  • Majoring in Accounting or Finance.
  • College Junior or Senior preferred.
  • Current GPA of 3.0
  • Non-US citizens must have a valid student VISA.
