Graphic Designer specializing in 2d design for Educational Music Project

All Around This World -- http://www.ExploreEverywhere.com -- is a global music and world cultures educational program for very young children (infants to 9 year-olds) and their families. Philadelphia-based music teacher Jay Sand  founded the project in 2009, and over many years has created an interactive music curriculum for children that introduces kids to the world through singing, dancing and FUN.

All Around This World is seeking a proactive and creative student for a Graphic Design internship who is excited about illustration, specifically 2D character design and animation, and has experience in Canva and Adobe tools. This is an opportunity to build a strong portfolio while working on 2D character design, animation rigging, and brand aligned assets in a collaborative, and starter friendly environment.

This internship is designed for someone interested in learning and developing skills in 2D character design by developing avatars, and brand animations; animation rigging by assisting with simple animation and avatar or logo rigging; assist in expanding on the brand image by contributing to our library of cohesive visual assets; and creative collaboration by working with content and marketing teams to execute campaigns. Students will work on real projects that contribute to digital design initiatives.

AATW is a small organization based in Philadelphia, but this internship is remote. Interns will work remotely with marketing and sales professional Carol Davis, who has over a decade of experience in brand ambassadorship, B2B and B2C marketing, and Partner Marketing Operations.

This internship is unpaid, but we will enthusiastically support you in using this work for an internship credit or an independent study project. We also actively support successful interns with recommendations and in developing items for your portfolio. We welcome interns who will be able to work with us all year, but we'll also be grateful to partner with you for one semester.

Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, though not required -- Creativity and ability to take initiative a must.
