What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee

As a Mental Health Counselor Outreach Manager, you will lead the Mental Health Counselor (MHC) Outreach team in building relationships with counselors, associates, educators, and community partners. This role expands the support for legislative initiatives that improve mental health access, funding, and education. This position ensures the PAC maintains a strong and informed network of mental health professionals who support initiatives in mental health education. 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies aligned with the PAC’s mental health priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with counselors, associates, and mental health organizations to expand PAC involvement.
  • Organize events focused on mental health policy and education, such as webinars, forums, and professional engagement events.
  • Assist with donor outreach and communication efforts that support initiatives and mental health education. 
  • Design and manage communication campaigns to represent the PAC’s stance on mental health and mobilize supporters.


 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Public Policy, Social Work, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working with mental health professionals is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with outreach pipelines, engagement tracking, or CRM tools.
  • Strong interest in understanding mental health environments and counselor needs.
  • Phone skills and email proficiency is preferred.
