Fundraising Coordinator Intern


Summary

Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Job Title: Fundraising Coordinator Intern

Location: Remote

Department: Finance / Accounting

Reports To: Finance and Accounting Division Director

Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)

Duration: 4 months

 

Internship Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Fundraiser Coordinator Intern to support Resilience’s fundraising efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience in event planning, donor relations, and nonprofit fundraising strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about our mission and eager to make a meaningful impact.

  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

●   Assist in planning and organizing fundraising events and campaigns. 

●   Help research potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities. 

●   Support donor outreach through emails, phone calls, and thank-you letters. 

●   Collaborate with staff to create fundraising materials and social media content. 

●   Maintain accurate records in donor databases and spreadsheets. 

●   Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for fundraising initiatives. 

●   Support post-event follow-up, including impact reporting and donor acknowledgment.

  

Qualifications:

 

●  Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, public relations, business administration, or a related field. 

●  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

●  Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. 

●  Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.

●  Passion for community service and nonprofit work.
