Brooksource is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to join our enterprise banking partner’s infrastructure team. This role is a strong entry point into network engineering and operations, supporting change execution across critical network services.This individual will focus on implementing pre-approved changes Click Ops, validating system updates, gathering audit evidence, and communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute pre-defined network and infrastructure changes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures
- Validate successful implementation of changes and collect supporting evidence for audit and compliance purposes
- Communicate effectively with requesters and internal teams to provide updates throughout the change management lifecycle (prep through close-out)
- Support core network services including DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and content delivery networks (CDN)
- Work within ticketing and workflow systems such as ServiceNow and Jira to manage change requests
- Collaborate with network engineering and infrastructure teams to maintain stability of enterprise systems
- Assist with transition of operational responsibilities into a future NOC model
Required Skills & Experience
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP networking basics)
- Exposure to or interest in network infrastructure services such as load balancers, CDNs, or enterprise networking
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and procedures
- Effective communication skills for working with technical teams and stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and grow within network operations and infrastructure environments
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
- Exposure to F5 load balancers or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Infoblox (DDI – DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
- Experience with Akamai or other CDN platforms
- Understanding of change management processes in enterprise environments
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
