Equity Research Intern (Fall 2026 / Winter 2027)

This internship is open only to rising seniors graduating in 2027 or earlier. We are seeking candidates who are interested in joining MayTech full-time following a successful internship.

Job Description

MayTech Global Investments is seeking an Equity Research Intern to work directly with our investment team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in buy-side equity research, financial modeling, and fundamental analysis while contributing to real investment decisions across global equity markets.

We are looking for a quick learner, an effective communicator, and someone who is naturally curious with a passion for investing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth industry and company research.
• Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analyses.
• Write research reports that include industry overviews, company analysis, competitive positioning, investment theses, and valuation.
• Monitor and analyze company news, earnings releases, and industry developments.
• Gather information from SEC filings, industry reports, sell-side research, investment conferences, company management meetings, and industry experts.
• Prepare reports and presentations for portfolio managers and participate in investment discussions.

Qualifications

• Rising senior graduating in 2027 or earlier pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in finance or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think critically, independently, and with intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated passion for investing and the financial markets.
