Summary

Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.  

Our mission is to teach SEL at every school in the country. Job Title: Creative writer Intern

Location: Remote

Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)

Duration: 4 Months

Resilience, Inc. is seeking a Creative Video Content Writer Intern to develop engaging short-form video content that promotes mental health awareness, social-emotional learning (SEL), and resilience.

In this role, you will create compelling 30-second video concepts and scripts designed for social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Job Description

  • Conceptualize, script, and storyboard short-form video content
  • Collaborate with content teams, educators, and subject matter experts to develop impactful messaging
  • Use storytelling techniques to create emotionally engaging content
  • Write concise scripts optimized for visual storytelling and audience engagement
  • Work closely with video editors to ensure narrative flow and creative consistency
  • Contribute innovative ideas that support Resilience, Inc.'s mission

Requirements

  • Experience in creative writing, scriptwriting, or digital content creation
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills
  • Familiarity with short-form video platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise and engaging format
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for mental health advocacy, education, and social impact
