Summary
Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.
Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Job Descriptions:
- Oversee and manage Resilience Inc.’s social media campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand voice, mission, and SEL-focused objectives.
- Develop and execute platform-specific strategies that promote emotional health awareness and support outreach to students, parents, educators, and communities.
- Monitor social media trends, analytics, and competitor activity to continuously refine strategy and improve engagement.
- Manage and support a team of social media coordinators and graphic designers by providing direction, feedback, and workflow coordination.
- Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely scheduling and balanced distribution of educational, promotional, and campaign content.
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, and SEL subject-matter experts to translate curriculum concepts into engaging digital storytelling.
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions) and prepare summary reports with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure posts reflect Resilience Inc.’s nonprofit values, ethical standards, and youth-appropriate messaging.
- Support campaign initiatives focused on expanding SEL adoption, including outreach to schools and underserved communities.
Requirements:
- Strong alignment with Resilience Inc.’s mission and values, including commitment to promoting social and emotional health and resilience-building for youth and families.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and content scheduling platforms.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to guide team members and coordinate cross-functional work.
- Excellent written communication skills and understanding of brand voice consistency.
- Ability to identify trends and adapt content strategies proactively.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Able to collaborate with a team and attend remote weekly meetings.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive in communication.
