Learning and Development Intern

Summary

Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues. 

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.  

Our mission is to teach SEL at every school in the country. Job Title: Learning and Development Intern

Location: Remote

Department: Application Development

Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)

Duration: 4 Months/ (5-10 hours per week)


 

Resilience is looking for a Learning and Development Intern. Our internship programs are 5-10 hours weekly with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement. We require at least a four month commitment.

This internship is unpaid, but students may receive academic credit through their university. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institute to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept the position. 

Job Description
 

Resilience, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager Intern to support organizational development, team coordination, and staff training initiatives across departments. This role offers flexibility in start and end dates and may continue beyond the minimum commitment based on performance and availability.

Students may apply for academic credit; however, it is the student’s responsibility to confirm eligibility with their institution prior to acceptance.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with organizational leaders, directors, and project managers to support growth
  • Help foster a high-performing work environment
  • Conduct and coordinate weekly departmental meetings to track goals, progress, and strategies
  • Align training and development efforts with the mission of Resilience, Inc.
  • Analyze organizational data to identify trends and improve engagement and performance
  • Support staff through training, facilitation, and internal communication
  • Contribute actively to organizational initiatives and demonstrate strong commitment to the mission

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Interest in training, organizational development, or human resources
  • Analytical mindset with ability to review and interpret basic data trends
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work
