Curtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is seeking Program Management interns with a desire to both learn and contribute to a highly technical, quality focused manufacturing business environment.  The Engineered Pump Division (EPD) has a long-standing and distinguished reputation for developing and implementing advanced technical solutions for the U. S. Navy.  Our products are positioned on naval platforms throughout the world. 

 

Our customer is demanding, our expectations are high, and our products serve critical-operation applications in the United States naval fleet of today and tomorrow.  This opportunity will provide invaluable, hands-on experience for the right candidates. 

 

This candidate should be a Business / Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) / Project Management / Data analyst student, who has an interest in assisting and working with Project Managers, Planners and Control Analysts in the PMO team, and able to communicate with other teams within EPD. The candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to learn and perform requested tasks in a timely manner. 

 

Some identified tasks / duties include (but not limited to):

Detailed Schedules Support:

Support Project Managers in the development of detailed schedules in Microsoft Project Plan tool / Excel that involves securing schedules from all identified suppliers and then consolidating into one master sheet, reviewing with PMs and Planners. 

 

Billings & Milestone Forecasting (BMF): 

Support the Billing and Milestone Forecasting (BMF) process by assisting Program Managers and program controls in the development, review, and validation of monthly billings forecasts and milestone status. The intern will help ensure forecasting inputs are accurate, complete, and supported by available program documentation.

 

Forecast Accuracy Analysis

Compare historical forecasts to actual billings and milestone completion, identify variance, and investigate root causes.

 

Estimate At Completion (EAC) Support

Analyze historical program data to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers that support management decisions.

 

Program Controls Analytics

Analyze historical program data to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers that support management decisions.

 

Candidate requirements:

Sole United States citizenship as required by our customer. 

Able to commute to our Bethlehem, PA location. 

 

Wages are $19/hour based on a forty-hour workweek.
