What is the opportunity?

We are now accepting applications for our Spring 2027 Field-Based Internship, offering both domestic and international opportunities! The internship begins on January 25, 2027, and concludes on May 7, 2027. Applications must be submitted no later than October 30, 2026, and should include a resume and cover letter.
Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors, and volunteers
- Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the public
- Perform varying duties and responsibilities for specific internship roles, based on the field office or response site
- International field-based internships: general areas of focus can include finance, operations, program development, communication, public health, agricultural programs, and technical areas such as water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)
- Domestic field-based internships: general areas of focus can include volunteer management, trade-related and construction work, and general administrative areas
- Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan's Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual
What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Obtaining or have obtained a bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university, or a trade-related technical degree
- Suggested areas of study: Accounting/Finance, Humanitarian Aid, Disaster Relief, International Business/Studies, Operations/Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Communications, Journalism, Organizational Leadership, Construction Management, Diesel Technology, Electrical, Plumbing, Public Health
- Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and networking skills
- Analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to serve
- Ability to develop and carry out plans and solve problems independently
- Other duties as assigned
Type: Paid Internship
Language Requirement: Fluency in English required. While some international field offices may also require fluency in Spanish or French, there is generally no additional language requirement for the internship program.
Location:
- International Interns serve at some of our Samaritan's Purse field offices, which may include Colombia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Liberia.
- Domestic Interns may serve at any active North American Disaster Relief and/or US Rebuild site, with time spent at the North Wilkesboro, NC campus in between assignments.
