Inside Sales Intern
Our Federal Business Unit is looking to add an Inside Sales Intern to their Sales & Client Solutions team to join them during the academic school year, possibly continuing through summer 2027. This position could be located in Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX/ Fort Worth, TX or Denver, CO.
As a member of the Inside Sales team, you’ll be an integral part of Jacobs’ sales organization to plan, lead, and support a variety of assignments on strategic pursuits, and to position Jacobs for success. Some of your tasks will include managing archived proposal data and content across various SharePoint and collaboration sites, searching government procurement platforms for opportunities, and supporting proposal preparation by organizing information and writing content including resumes for team staff we’re proposing for a variety of opportunities.

Collaborating with members of the sales team, you’ll gain experience on a variety of proposal activities, ranging from U.S. government SF 330s and qualification statements to strategic, complex proposals and presentations, as well as manage the data and content supporting these activities.
During your time with Jacobs, you will engage with pursuit teams on sales process discipline, proposal development, interviews, and presentations; as well as support data management, opportunity searches, and coordination, writing, and preparation of proposals in conjunction with more experienced sales staff.

Here's what you'll need
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Must have completed at least two years of collegiate courses
- Must be available to start work by January 2027 or before
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- United States Citizenship
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- 3.0 GPA
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- A previous internship related to business communications, marketing, journalism
