WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS INFOSEC), you will:

  • Develop and lead implementation of enterprise cloud architecture strategies supporting agency mission and business operations.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with federal cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Provide leadership for enterprise governance processes governing cloud architecture and technology investments.
  • Serve as a supervisory official responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals including cloud engineers, architects, and systems specialists.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications: Applicants for the Information Technology Management series, 2210 at the GS-15 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

  • Leading enterprise cloud architecture (across all major Cloud Service Providers) and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and technology standards.
  • Implementing enterprise cloud strategies and governance frameworks, the deployment and management of large-scale cloud platforms.
  • Directing multidisciplinary infrastructure engineering teams in the execution of complex IT modernization projects, driving successful outcomes from planning through implementation.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing strategic guidance on technology modernization efforts and cloud transformation initiatives.
