What You’ll Be Doing

As an Online Crowdfunding Outreach Intern, you will help our nonprofit connect with community organizations, colleges, political groups, volunteers, and potential supporters. You will conduct outreach, follow up with contacts, and maintain organized records of engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research possible contacts and organizations.
• Send emails and make calls.
• Follow up with interested people.
• Help recruit volunteers and interns.
• Update outreach records.
• Assist with meetings and events.
• Report outreach progress.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in politics, campaigns, public service, or community outreach.
• Basic research and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally through email and phone.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, shared documents, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Majoring in or planning to major in political science, public policy, public administration, history, humanities, donor management, finance, accounting, human services, business administration, communications, writing, journalism, social work, public relations, marketing, sociology, psychology, international business, comparative/international politics
