About UDS

United Drone Solutions (UDS) is a Detroit-based technology company using drones, data, and emerging technology to support the inspection, monitoring, and management of physical infrastructure.

 

We are growing our technical team and looking for a Software Developer / Engineer interested in helping build technology that connects real-world operations with digital data and insights.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development of web-based software applications and internal technology tools.
  • Assist with frontend and backend development.
  • Build and maintain databases, APIs, dashboards, and user-facing features.
  • Work with technical and operational team members to turn business needs into functional software.
  • Assist with integrating data from multiple sources into organized digital workflows.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and improve software functionality.
  • Help document technical processes and development work.
  • Participate in product-development and technical-planning discussions.
  • Help build scalable solutions as UDS grows.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Candidates should have experience or education in one or more of the following:

  • Software Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Full-Stack Development
  • Frontend or Backend Development
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • React or similar frameworks
  • Python
  • APIs and database development
  • Cloud-based applications
  • Git / GitHub

 

Experience with GIS, mapping, drones, data visualization, AI, or infrastructure technology is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed based on experience, availability, project scope, and role structure.
