Oaklin Lane is building a new model for pediatric therapy: comprehensive, multidisciplinary care that makes it easier for children to receive the support they need and for therapists to do the work they love. Our clinics bring speech, occupational, physical, feeding, and sensory therapy together under one roof.
We are expanding access to pediatric care and building a disciplined approach to selecting and launching new locations across the United States.

About the Role
We are seeking a Market Development & Site Expansion Intern to help identify where Oaklin Lane should grow next. You will evaluate U.S. markets, cities, and neighborhoods using demographic, clinical, competitive, labor, reimbursement, and real-estate considerations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining quantitative analysis with on-the-ground market research to make an actionable recommendation.
Responsibilities
Size pediatric therapy demand across U.S. markets
Analyze child demographics, competition, referral networks, reimbursement, therapist supply, and real-estate factors
Build market-scoring and site-prioritization models
Research pediatricians, schools, hospitals, community organizations, and potential partners
Develop market maps and competitor profiles
Support site evaluation and new-location planning
Prepare clear market-entry recommendations for leadership
Example Projects
Rank U.S. metropolitan areas for future Oaklin Lane expansion
Identify the strongest neighborhoods for a new clinic within a target city
Map pediatric referral sources and competitors around a proposed site
Analyze therapist availability and recruiting difficulty by market
Build a market-entry plan for a new state or metropolitan area
Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student in business, economics, real estate, geography, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field
Strong quantitative research and structured problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides
Experience with market research, mapping, demographic tools, or GIS is helpful
Ability to synthesize multiple data sources into a clear recommendation
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Based in and authorized to work in the United States
Experience in consulting, real estate, healthcare, strategy, or market research is helpful but not required.
