UpAhead is an AI-powered academic OS for students in over 5,000 universities. We’re the only platform to pull all course content directly from the LMS (Blackboard/Canvas etc). Due dates, grades, notes, slides, attendance policies and more get streamlined to our platform where students can use AI to navigate their semester and college life.

What You’ll Do

>Build and ship features across our web app (React) and mobile app (React Native)

>Optimize for real outcomes: usage, conversion, and retention, not just "it works"

>Run experiments, dig into usage data, and iterate based on what students actually do

>Work in an AI-first environment with full access to all frontier models and tools

>Scope features directly with the founder and talk to real users

What We’re Looking For

>Strong front‑end skills - React + React Native experience preferred

>AI Fluency - you don’t just use AI tools, you use them to multiply your output

>Product mindset - you build so that people use and get real value from your work

>Leadership experience - student organizations, startups, or leading project teams

>Ownership + Agency - drive projects forward without constant direction

>Entrepreneurial thinking - experience as a founder or at startups
