Communications PR Intern

COMMUNICATIONS + PR INTERN

Cultured Kombucha Co. | Remote | 10 hours/week | $20/hour

Bring Cultured Alive - in stories, conversations, communities, and culture.

You'll help turn what's happening inside a growing brand into stories people want to read, share, and talk about.

THE ROLE
Help own Cultured's weekly communication rhythm while proactively creating opportunities for the brand, products and founder to be seen, heard and talked about. This is a hands-on role for someone who can write, research, pitch, follow up and turn what is happening inside a growing brand into stories people care about.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Weekly Brand Communications - 1 weekly customer newsletter + 1 weekly blog, plus collaboration with our social team on the stories, hooks, launches and messaging Cultured is sharing each week.

PR + Earned Media - 2 press releases / pitch campaigns per month. Build targeted media lists, pitch local and regional press, follow up with journalists, and pursue roundups, founder stories, wellness stories, new-product coverage and business features.

Brand + Community Partnerships - Identify aligned brands, events, nonprofits, gyms, clubs, creators and community organizations. Pitch thoughtful collaborations and keep partnership conversations moving.

Founder + Brand Visibility - Find and pursue podcasts, panels, speaking opportunities, awards, founder features, entrepreneurial organizations and other places Cultured should have a voice.

Events + Launches - Help build communications around new markets, retail launches, new flavors, festivals, partnerships and other moments worth talking about.

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF...

You are a strong writer and naturally curious researcher. You notice what makes a good story. You are comfortable reaching out to people you do not know, following up, staying organized and taking an idea from "we should do this" to actually making it happen. PR, journalism, communications, marketing or entrepreneurship experience is great - initiative matters more.

BRING CULTURED TO LIFE, NATURALLY.
