Public Accounting Tax Season Internship

Are you a dedicated student on the path to a rewarding career in public accounting? ShindelRock, a mid-sized public accounting firm located in Novi, Michigan, is excited to offer a winter internship for students pursuing an accounting-focused business degree. As a ShindelRock intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various public accounting functions, including tax preparation, 1099s, PPTs, and more.

Our interns are vital members of our team! Be prepared to work alongside partners and senior tax professionals on tax returns and special projects covering a wide variety of industries and services. Our hope is to provide students working toward an accounting degree with the chance to begin building a solid public accounting foundation.

This is a full-time paid internship running from January 2027 to April 2027. Ultimately, we hope an internship at ShindelRock culminates with an offer of a full-time position following graduation and the start of a rewarding public accounting career.

Qualifications:

• Junior or senior year at a four-year university/college, working towards an accounting degree is required. 
• Experience with QuickBooks or other similar software is a huge plus, but not required.
