Creator Relations Intern

Creator Relations Intern — Fall 2026

NEWHOUSE · Communication, Creative, Social Media Agency https://www.hellonewhouse.com/clients.html

NEWHOUSE is looking for qualified students to apply to the Creator Relations internship position for the Fall 2026 semester. This internship will be entirely remote.

Commitment: 2-3 days/week (16–24 hours/week)

The Creator Relations team is the engine behind every influencer campaign that leaves this agency. We are the people who find the creators, verify them, and build the lists that our clients see. If a campaign has an influencer on it, it started with us. This internship sits inside that team and supports list builds across our entertainment slate on live campaigns for major studios and networks.

To give you a sense of the pace: in a single month this summer, our team ran creator work across 17 titles for 8 studio and network clients - theatrical releases, streaming premieres, Comic-Con activations, red carpet correspondent programs, and 4DX screening events. In one semester here you will touch more campaigns than most internships give you in a year, and they are campaigns you will see on both the big and small screens! The creators you find can end up at a premiere, on a red carpet, or in a nationally running campaign - work you can point to for the rest of your career.

Main daily tasks:

  • Building creator lists in CreatorIQ against campaign criteria, including follower range, engagement rate, location, and niche
  • Running first-pass brand safety screening on creators and flagging anything that needs a closer look from the full-time team
  • Drafting creator selection rationales in our house style for client-facing lists
  • Reviewing incoming list build request briefs for completeness and flagging missing details to the Creator Relations Managers before work begins
  • Preparing internal and external versions of creator lists
  • Conducting sourcing research for narrow or hard-to-fill creator profiles across specific markets, communities, and content niches

What we teach:

  • Encouragement and Creativity. We sharpen professional skills with a hands-on internship experience, which includes strengthening communication with internal teams, strategy and creative thinking, writing skills, and time management.
  • Industry Knowledge/Connections. We provide a wealth of knowledge within the film, TV/OTT, music, podcast, talent, sports and brand industries and the who's who in the creator economy, since we work with TOP entertainment industry clients.
  • Industry Skills/Experience. We show interns how to use CreatorIQ, the industry standard influencer discovery and campaign management platform, alongside the tools we use every day to run creator campaigns.
  • Judgment. Anyone can pull a list. We teach interns how to defend one — why a creator belongs on it, what makes them a risk, and how to write that clearly enough for a client to act on.

How you'll work with us:

Interns join internal brainstorms, and list review sessions. You will hear how work is moving across the whole slate, not just the lists you touched. You will also meet weekly one-on-one with your manager. This is a small team, which means the work you contribute to goes to clients rather than into a folder.

What you'll leave with:

  • Named campaigns and titles you can put on a résumé
  • Working proficiency in CreatorIQ
  • A portfolio of writing samples - real creator rationales that went to real studios, not mock exercises

Requirements:

  • Must be able to receive college credit as this is an unpaid internship
  • Must have interest in working in influencer marketing, creator relations, PR or Communications fields
  • Must be available 2-3 days of the week or 16-24 hours per week (can be flexible to school/curriculum schedule)
  • Must be a quick learner, team player and collaborative worker
  • Must be genuinely online — comfortable across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and able to tell the difference between a creator with an audience and a creator with a following
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, numbers/analytics, and an eye for detail; a lot of this role is making sure the right name, rate, and link end up in the right place

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with specific creator niches or fandom communities
  • Any prior exposure to influencer discovery tools, social analytics, or campaign reporting
