Content Creator Intern: Combat Sports

Company: Strike Space, Inc. (Delaware C-Corporation)

Role type: Internship, part-time, 6 to 10 hours per week

Duration: 12 weeks, with option to extend

Location: Remote, USA only.

Compensation: Unpaid, or for academic credit where your institution permits. Performance commission on bookings once the platform launches.

About the project: We are building content around combat sports training and community. Early stage, pre-launch. You would be creating short-form video from scratch. Combat Sports include Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The Role: You will make short-form video that gets people to book their first combat sports class.

  • Film and edit 3 to 4 short videos per week for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Cover training sessions, coach profiles, first-timer POV, technique breakdowns, and gym walkthroughs
  • Write hooks and captions, and test what actually drives clicks rather than what drives views
  • Help build the Strike Space content calendar from scratch
  • Report back on what worked and why

Who this is for:

  • You train in a combat sport, or you are genuinely willing to start
  • You can shoot and edit on a phone. CapCut or similar is fine; no film degree required
  • You have posted enough short-form video to know the difference between a good hook and a bad one
  • You want to build a portfolio, and you are early enough in your career that access and credit are worth more to you than a small check

You do not need an existing audience. We are looking for people who can make good video, not people who already have followers.

Bonus if you are: an amateur or competing fighter, a coach, a marketing, PR, or film student, or already making combat sports content on your own account.

What you get:

  • Footage rights. You own your footage and retain the right to post it on your own channels. We get a perpetual license to use it for marketing and promotion. Both of us can use what you create.
  • Credit on every post. Your handle is tagged on every piece of content we publish.
  • Training access. Access to training sessions as we scale.
  • Direct access to the founder. No layers. You will see how a company gets built, including the parts that go wrong.
  • Performance commission once bookings launch. A per-booking payout on every first-time customer who books through your personal referral code. Paid on results, uncapped.
  • A reference. A written reference, and the paperwork for academic credit if your program allows it.
