CDS 4250 Medical Biochemistry Course Grader

Position Overview
 Goal: Ensure fair, accurate, and timely grading to support course instructor.
 Supervision: Work directly under a professor or lead teaching assistant.
 Hours: Part-time, usually between 3 to 10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
 Assignment Evaluation: Grade homework, short papers, or quizzes using
standardized rubrics or answer keys.
 Record Keeping: Enter and track student scores accurately in Excel, report
results to faculty for entry into Moodle.
 Privacy Compliance: Protect student data and follow privacy rules like FERPA.
 Communication: Report issues, score trends, or academic honesty concerns to
the main instructor.
 Optional Tasks: Help proctor exams.

Qualifications
 Student Status: Must be an active undergraduate student enrolled at OU full
time.
 Course Knowledge: Must have already passed the specific course or a related
advanced class with a strong grade (A-B).
 Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and basic computer entry.
