Force Support Summer Intern
**APPLY AT www.afintern.com ** The FORCE SUPPORT CAREER FIELD TEAM is seeking high-achieving, motivated students to join the Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) for a 10–12 week paid summer internship.
Interns within the Force Support career field work directly alongside military and civilian leaders to deliver essential programs and services supporting Airmen, Guardians, and their families across the Department of the Air Force.

Role Description & Mission Focus
Community Readiness Specialist / Consultant*
Assist specialists addressing individual, family, and community matters—including career transition, relocation, and work/life programs.
Prevention Specialist*
Support prevention education regarding sexual assault/harassment, family violence, workplace violence, suicide, and substance abuse.
Human Resources Specialist
Perform procedural and substantive operations supporting full-lifecycle federal HR management functions.
Management Analyst
Conduct organizational and workflow analysis to optimize mission effectiveness, resource efficiency, and cost savings.
Child Development Specialist*
Support programs focused on child health, safety, and development while ensuring adherence to agency policies and standards.
Instructional Systems Specialist*
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating training concepts, curricula, and instructional delivery systems.
General Education & Training Specialist*
Provide adult educational guidance, academic planning, and career development counseling to military and civilian personnel.
Youth Programs Specialist*
Aid in administering comprehensive, positive developmental and recreational programs for base youth.
*Specific degree programs and/or relevant coursework may be required depending on the specific position and installation location.
Eligibility Criteria

Qualification Standard
Academic Standing
Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited 4-year undergraduate or master's degree program.
Credit Completion
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 60 semester credit hours prior to the start of the internship. Graduate students must have completed at least 18 semester credit hours prior to the start of the internship.
GPA Minimum
Cumulative GPA of 2.95 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Citizenship
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Security / Suitability
Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security background investigation (Air Force funded).
