WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As the Global Apparel Materials (GLAM) Developer Intern, you will be part of the Textiles, Trims, and Print & Pattern Teams that partner with Global Categories and Design Teams on delivering materials from concept to commercialization.
You will collaborate with the Teams to build/enhance tools, resources and systems designed to enable the creative process, advance innovation, and increase speed. You will support the research and ideation for concept development, including the testing and validation towards final item approval. In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with teams involved in design, product management, product creation, material manufacturing, and sustainability. Materials should be your passion!
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will collaborate with the GLAM Material Development team to deliver on a cross functional project that is inclusive of Textiles, Trims, Print & Pattern. Projects will focus on delivering new material insights, researching current material palettes and give recommendations on improvement, improving cross functional collaboration, transforming our digital materials capabilities, and more!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Merchandising, Textile Science, Materials Science or related field with a graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to be a team player within a fast-paced team.
- Knowledge of material and garment construction.
- Ability to build a plan/roadmap around key projects and implement to completion.
- Experience in building compelling visual tools. (Adobe illustrator, Power Point, Boards, Miro, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations. Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
