Sales Operations Intern (Summer 2027)

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Americas Sale Inventory Operation Planning (SIOP) team as a SIOP Intern who will  be driving data standardization, performance analytics, and process improvement initiatives. This role will help streamline reporting across multiple MRP systems, develop execution-based performance insights, and support projects associated with the ongoing evolution of SIOP planning capabilities. The intern will gain exposure to supply chain planning, operations, inventory management, and business analytics while contributing to strategic transformation initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support data collection, cleansing, and standardization across multiple MRP systems to improve reporting consistency and data integrity.

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to inventory risk, customer demand, and supply planning performance.

Analyze execution variances and identify root causes related to booking and shipping performance, inventory availability, warehouse operations, and factory execution.

Support recurring business reviews by gathering, organizing, and validating data used in planning and operational decision-making.

Assist with process documentation, testing, training materials, and change management activities associated with SIOP process enhancements.

Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on planning effectiveness, reporting automation, analytics development, and operational visibility.

Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to support data-driven decision-making.   

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to organize and analyze large data sets from multiple sources.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality work 

Collaboration and teamwork 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning concepts.

Understanding of inventory management, demand planning, production planning, or sales and operations planning (S&OP/SIOP).

Experience using SQL, Power Query, Python, or other data analysis tools.

Interest in supply chain transformation, process improvement, and operations analytics.
