The Opportunity
Reporting to Matt Bates, VP of Research & Development, the Software Engineer Intern will help design how Macro Helix’s OneStop implementation approval process can be integrated into 340B Architect, Macro Helix’s signature SaaS platform.
Today, implementation teams and customers rely on spreadsheets, email, and manual follow-up to validate configurations before go-live. This creates delays, uncertainty, and administrative burden during one of the most critical stages of implementation.
The goal of this project is to create a structured approval experience within 340B Architect, enabling customers to review, validate, and formally approve configurations before activation.
The resulting experience should:
Increase transparency throughout the implementation process
Reduce manual administrative effort
Accelerate implementation timelines
Establish 340B Architect as the system of record for the full implementation lifecycle
Qualifications
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Exposure to AI-assisted development, cloud technologies, APIs, and product-focused problem solving
- Experience or exposure to one or more programming languages, including:
- C#
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects
Compensation
We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards program.
Compensation is determined by several factors, including performance, experience, skills, internal equity, job-market evaluations, and geographic market conditions. Pay will always comply with applicable regulations.
In addition to base pay, other forms of compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may be offered.

Base Pay Range
$16.50 - $27.50 per hour
