Supply Chain Intern
Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Operations Intern will assist in various supply chain activities, supporting the team in optimizing logistics, inventory management, and supplier coordination. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory tracking and management.
- Support logistics coordination to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Perform data analysis to support supply chain decisions.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Help maintain accurate supply chain documentation and records.
- Participate in supplier communication and relationship management.
- Assist in demand forecasting and order planning.
- Support the evaluation of supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current student enrolled in an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, purchasing or other related degree.
- Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- ‘Can-do-it’ attitude is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and execute projects.
Timeline: Full-time May 2027-August 2027, with option to work part-time this current spring semester. Seeking local student.
