What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee
As a Mental Health Counselor Outreach Manager Intern, you will help with engagement and building relationships with mental health counselors, therapists, and mental health associations. You will assist in strengthening the PAC by building a network of individuals and organizations that support the legislative priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute outreach plans to grow and maintain connections with mental health counselors that support the PAC’s legislative priorities and expand influence.
- Organize and coordinate outreach events focused on mental health policies and education.
- Track engagement metrics, analyze effectiveness of outreach plans, and maintain pipelines with counselors.
- Design and implement communication campaigns that represent the PAC’s stance on mental health issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing a degree in counseling, psychology, social work, public health, public policy, nonprofit management, public administration, communications
- Location & Availability: Must work remotely during in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
- Skills: Proficiency in digital collaboration (Zoom, Google Meets), excellent communication skills.
