SECS Micro-Intern: Academic Research

Position is part of the Micro-internship program in the School of Engineering and Computer Science

Must be Freshman or Sophomore Standing

• The role will include a research project in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
• The project is currently investigating the needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so that we can develop smart homes and robots to support them in independent living. 
• To conduct these investigations, we require a student to provide support in automating data collection of interviews, surveys, and more. 
• If successful, the student also has the opportunity to continue to engage in our lab that focuses on human-robot interaction, AI, and assistive technology for education/healthcare

Duration: 10 hours per week for 4 weeks

Majors: All SECS majors

Format: In Person

Must be freshman or sophomore standing.
