As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience identifying and implementing improvements across our manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Do
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes
- Develop improvement proposals, including cost analysis and justification
- Evaluate new technology and recommend equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Work with Production Managers to develop efficient manufacturing layouts
- Partner with engineering to ensure equipment is designed for efficient manufacturing
- Conduct time studies as needed
- Assist the Quality Department
- Support additional projects and duties as assigned
Compensation
- The starting pay range for this position is $18-$22 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
