VanEck's Summer Intern Program includes exposure across the firm through educational, mentorship, and networking events. Business Intelligence Team- Leverage AI and machine-learning tools to automate data workflows, accelerate analysis, and surface actionable insights from sales and client data
- Produce analytics that generate actionable insights for sales leadership and team members
- Support the Salesforce.com (CRM) platform for the organization
- Manage and organize sales data to support the team's sales strategy and inform data-driven decision-making
Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as needed:
- Assist the Business Intelligence Team in maintaining, managing, and enhancing client data integrity
- Partner with sales teams to build reports and dashboards (data visualizations)
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI assistants and Microsoft Copilot) to streamline reporting, summarize datasets, and prototype analyses more efficiently
- Produce analytics that generate actionable insights for sales leadership and team members
- Research potential new functionality and enhancements to the Salesforce.com (CRM) platform
- Compile and manage various data sources and inputs for reporting
- Support the team in responding to sales-related inquiries
- Proficiency working in Excel and managing data is a plus
- Interest in or exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot) for data analysis and productivity is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Working knowledge of the internet and the Microsoft Office suite
- Professional demeanor
- Currently entering junior level (3rd year) or beyond within a 4-year college program
- Some experience within a corporate environment is helpful but not required
- The maximum hourly rate for this position is $25 an hour
