Brand Operations Intern

Social Studio The Agency is a Miami-based marketing agency working with fashion, swimwear, beauty, and lifestyle brands. This is an unpaid, for-credit educational internship built to teach college students how a fashion brand actually runs behind the scenes. This internship puts you inside actual product launches, inventory, and vendor management, the operational side most marketing internships never touch. You get real-world experience by shadowing our team in Miami, completing guided learning projects, and getting regular feedback from agency leadership. Interns do not replace or displace paid staff.

Why this internship is different

  • Work alongside a team that partners with high-profile influencers and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands
  • A rare look at how a real fashion and swimwear brand runs behind the scenes
  • We run on AI every day here, so you will be applying real AI workflows already in use at the agency rather than learning AI from scratch. We expect applicants to already be comfortable using AI tools
  • Standout interns may be considered for a paid role with our team or placement with one of our partner brands. This is a possibility, not a promise. A paid role or placement is never guaranteed

Cool things you'll get to work on

  • Help run a real product launch from planning through go-live
  • Get hands-on with inventory and order fulfillment systems for an active ecommerce brand
  • Sit in on real vendor, sampling, and production timeline conversations
  • Walk away with a launch checklist or ops system you helped build from scratch

What you will learn

  • How fashion and swimwear brands plan and run product launches from start to finish
  • How inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping systems work for an ecommerce brand
  • How brands track samples, vendors, and production timelines
  • How photoshoots and content days are planned and produced
  • How to use Shopify and common ecommerce operations tools

How the program works

  • Weekly training sessions and one-on-one mentorship with agency leadership
  • Real, hands-on experience shadowing our team on live fashion and swimwear brand operations in Miami, always under close supervision
  • Guided learning projects (for example, a practice launch checklist or an inventory tracking system) reviewed with written feedback
  • A final portfolio piece you can use in future job and internship applications
  • We work directly with your school to set learning objectives and complete any evaluations your credit program requires

What you get

  • Direct mentorship from our founder
  • A look inside the real AI powered workflows we run day to day
  • Networking and introductions to our client brands and industry contacts
  • A certificate of completion
  • A letter of recommendation for interns who complete the full term
  • Portfolio-ready work samples plus academic credit through your school

Who should apply

  • Currently enrolled college students studying fashion merchandising, business, supply chain, marketing, or a related field
  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your school for this internship
  • Based in or near Miami and able to come in person part of the week
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and excited about fashion and ecommerce
  • You already know how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude for your own work, and have your own active subscription to one. We run on AI daily and this is required to apply

Schedule

  • 10 to 15 hours per week, hybrid in Miami (part in person, part remote)
  • Hours are scheduled around your classes and academic commitments
  • Runs for one academic term (Fall 2026), aligned with your school calendar

Compensation

This internship is unpaid and offered for academic credit only. You must be enrolled in your school's internship credit program to participate. Standout interns may be considered for a paid role with our team or placement with a partner brand, but a paid position is not guaranteed, and interns are not entitled to wages for time spent in the program, in line with the U.S. Department of Labor primary beneficiary test for internships.
